Position Title: Internal Auditor
Department: Internal Audit/Finance

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, skilled, and professional Internal Auditor with healthcare experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating internal processes, financial and operational practices, compliance standards, and risk management systems to support transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct internal audits in accordance with approved audit plans, hospital policies, and applicable standards.
• Review financial, operational, administrative, and clinical support processes to assess compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Identify risks, process gaps, control weaknesses, and areas requiring corrective action.
• Prepare clear and accurate audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, UAE regulations, healthcare standards, and internal governance requirements.
• Collaborate professionally with departments while maintaining independence, objectivity, and confidentiality.
• Support management in improving internal processes, risk management, and accountability.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and records in accordance with professional standards.
• Uphold professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Auditing, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant internal audit experience, including at least 5 years in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of audit practices, risk assessment, internal processes, and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Experience in preparing audit reports and following up corrective action plans is required.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
