Job Title: Gastroenterologist (Female Preferred)

Location: Ain Al Khaleej Hospital, Al Ain, UAE

Job Summary

Responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive system disorders. Provides high-quality, evidence-based medical care and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions.
Manage diseases such as GERD, IBS, IBD, gastritis, ulcers, liver diseases, and GI disorders.
Perform and interpret gastroenterology procedures including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Educate patients regarding treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
Specialist qualification in Gastroenterology.
Valid UAE Specialist License/eligibility.
Female Gastroenterologist preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Gastroenterology after specialization.
Strong experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Valid BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
