Position Title: Biostatistician
Department: Quality
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, skilled, and professional Biostatistician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting clinical data analysis, healthcare research, quality improvement projects, statistical reporting, and evidence-based decision-making in accordance with hospital policies and applicable UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, review, analyze, and interpret clinical, operational, and research-related healthcare data.
• Apply appropriate statistical methods to support clinical studies, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and management reports.
• Prepare accurate statistical reports, dashboards, summaries, and presentations for internal and external use.
• Support healthcare professionals in designing data collection tools, research studies, surveys, and outcome measures.
• Ensure accuracy, validity, confidentiality, and integrity of all data used for statistical analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical, quality, research, and administrative teams to support evidence-based planning and decision-making.
• Assist in monitoring healthcare indicators, patient outcomes, trends, and performance measures.
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
• Uphold professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a hospital, healthcare, research, or public health environment.
• Experience in healthcare data analysis, clinical research, statistical reporting, and quality indicators is required.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, STATA, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
