Position Title: Procurement Manager
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee the organization’s procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance, and uninterrupted supply of goods and services while maintaining compliance with UAE regulations and organizational policies.
This role requires strong expertise in procurement strategy, contract management, and vendor relations, particularly within regulated environments such as healthcare or higher education.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
• Manage tendering processes, RFQs, RFPs, and contracts in compliance with policies and UAE regulations.
• Maintain and monitor approved vendor lists and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and applicable laws.
• Manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and support financial planning.
• Coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and ensure timely supply delivery.
• Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure quality and compliance of procured goods, especially in regulated sectors (e.g., healthcare supplies or academic resources).
• Prepare reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier evaluation.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
• Experience in healthcare or higher education sector is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE procurement practices, VAT regulations, and audit requirements.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is an added advantage.
