Position Title: Audiologist
Department: Otolaryngology / ENT

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Audiologist to join our healthcare team. The role is responsible for diagnosing, assessing, and managing hearing and balance disorders across all age groups. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using behavioral, physiologic, and electrophysiologic testing methods.
• Assess vestibular (balance) function and interpret diagnostic results accurately.
• Develop and oversee hearing screening programs to support early detection of hearing loss.
• Diagnose hearing and vestibular disorders and provide appropriate treatment plans.
• Fit, program, and evaluate hearing aids and assistive listening devices while counseling patients on their proper use.
• Provide tinnitus assessment and management using evidence-based techniques.
• Deliver auditory rehabilitation and counseling to patients and their families regarding communication strategies and psychosocial impact.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records from initial assessment through discharge.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, occupational health and safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in departmental initiatives, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Audiology or an equivalent qualification (minimum 3 years of study).
Valid professional license from DOH / DHA / MOH, as applicable.
Minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of audiology practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Experience with pediatric audiology and hearing aid technologies is highly desirable
Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
