Position Title: IT Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Assistant to join our Information Technology team. The role is responsible for providing first- and second-level technical support to ensure the smooth day-to-day IT operations for hospital and university users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining efficient and reliable IT services in alignment with organizational policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, including helpdesk requests, phone calls, and walk-in support.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Support and maintain smart TVs, IPTV systems, digital signage, and meeting room technology.
• Perform user onboarding and offboarding activities, including account setup and access management.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of devices and systems.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Assist with IT operations during system go-lives, training sessions, inspections, and audits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, printers, and basic networking.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
