Dr. Omar Sameer – Consultant in Otolaryngology

Dr. Omar Sameer graduated from Baghdad Medical College, Baghdad, Iraq. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds the Arab Board in Otorhinolaryngology from the Council of Arab Board of Health Specializations. Additionally, he completed specialized training at KKR ENT Hospital and Research Institute, and holds a certificate from J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, West Virginia, USA.

Dr. Omar has extensive experience in managing a wide range of ENT cases, including:

• Sleep apnea surgery

• Endoscopic sinus surgery

• Septoplasty

• Turbinate reduction surgery

• Salivary gland surgery, including removal of salivary stones

• Removal of foreign bodies

• Myringotomy and ventilation tube insertion

• Removal of tongue lesions

• Vocal fold surgery for both benign and malignant lesions

• Thyroglossal cyst excision

• Adenotonsillectomy

In addition, Dr. Omar specializes in laryngeal and tracheal trauma care and performs emergency tracheostomies for patients presenting with acute stridor.
